Product feedback Pacsafe Venture Safe 25

Long time no hear!

Last weeks were quite busy so I couldn't follow up.
Now I'm working off my "to-do-list" which now leads me to a point which still maks me angry.
My pacsafe is broken.
This used to be my beloved daypack for months, but due to bad quality I can't use it anymore.
What is a Pacsafe?
The idea is nice: Make a backpack theft-safe. Quite useful in Latinamerica: Slashproof through a web of wires and other gimmicks, it should make your stuff safe.
Too stupid that the quality of the materials and the manufacturing is so poor it was damaged after only 8 months of travel and totally broken after only 13 months so now I can trash it.
I wrote the following mail to the manufacturer, we'll see what they say about their bad products.

--------------------------------
Dear sir or madam,

I bought a Pacsafe Adventure Daypack 25l/ Venture Safe on May 27th 2010 prior to starting my trip through Latin America on Oct 12th 2010.
In June 2011 - after only 8 months of usage - the zip ripped out so I had to sew it up again in order to continue using the daypack, but it kept ripping out so the functionality was very limited.
Now in November 2011 the clip at the bottom of the shoulder straps broke so I can't use the daypack at all anymore.
I am deeply disappointed of the low quality of your backpack.
I used to have a trivial Eastpak years back which still is in good conditions! I think I may expect more than 13 months of usage.
In these links you will find fotos of the damaged parts:

I may post my mail and your response on my travel blog as well as in the review on globetrotter.de where I originally ordered the backpack.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Kind regards
